Who is speaking?

Why do we ask for your name and optional phone number before conducting a free consultation?

When using Dew-X you do not have to provide your real details.

Of course, the email address must be active, but the name and surname are declarative and sometimes users provide, for example, the name: Test and the surname: Dew-X. We don’t make a problem of it.

However, the situation changes when the user wants to take advantage of free consultations.

These are online meetings (approx. 1.5 hours) during which we answer questions, present the capabilities of Dew-X and help configure it so that it is useful in work in these users’ organizations.

The fact that we want to know who we are meeting seems pretty obvious.

We also ask for a phone number. Here the reason is different. When we set a meeting date, sometimes the user forgets about it. This sometimes happens because these meetings are free and therefore not showing up will not result in financial loss. Having a phone number, we can call or send a message to confirm the meeting. The second reason is rare but occurring technical problems related to sound – then we share the image using the conference system, and the conversation is conducted by phone.

If none of the arguments seem reasonable to you or you have another reason not to provide your data, please use the user manual and blog to learn more about Dew-X.
