The free version of Dew-X has everything you need to run and use the document workflow or project management system for free. Also for commercial purposes.
However, it also has its limitations. Some are quite obvious, such as the fact that it can only be accessed from a shared server, and not from one located on the client’s infrastructure or under the client’s supervision.
Thus, issues of disk space or backup are also regulated differently.
Quite often, there are also needs related to conditional control of the process or specific requirements impossible to implement in the free version, such as modification of the interface, application behavior, adding new functionality, or doing some integrations.
Formal matters such as a license agreement instead of regulations and direct support from our team are also not insignificant.
These needs and many others will be met by one of the PRO business versions

As you can see, there can be at least a few very good reasons to consider the professional version. The most common ones are:
- I must or prefer to have documents on a server under my control
- In the processes I need conditional control
- I need specific functionality not found in free Dew-X
- I want to integrate with my other systems in a way that is not available in the free version
- I require better formal security such as contract, SLA, support.
