File archive

The File archive is a module that allows you to collect, organize, and share your organization’s documents.

Systems of this type are also referred to as: Document Management System (DMS), or Electronic Document Management (EDM).

They can be compared to a digital warehouse where all relevant materials are stored – contracts, protocols, invoices, HR documents, reports, technical documentation, etc.
Authorized users have quick access to the data they need, while the information is properly secured.

In Dew-X, documents can be stored in many other modules, such as Business Processes, Kanban Boards, CRM, or Namespaces. The Archive module is best suited for storing files that are not associated with any specific processes.

The document management module has extensive capabilities – it allows you to create multiple directories/folders, add files, build forms for describing (indexing) documents, perform OCR, and assign permissions for accessing and editing files. This makes working with it fast and convenient.

Administrators and organization owners can precisely determine who has the right to add files to a given directory, who can view documents, and who can edit or delete them. This approach allows you to maintain complete control over who uses the archive resources and how.
