Parallel steps

Note: This feature is available only in the PRO Business version and works only in conditional processes. If multiple people can enter data in a process at the same time, it’s a good idea to use parallel steps. Thanks to them, individual users or teams don’t have to wait for others to finish their tasks, which allows you to move through the entire process more efficiently and save time. You configure parallel steps in the Process Builder for connections within conditional processes. When adding or editing a connection, you specify its start and end—that is, the forms between which the workflow is to take place. If parallel steps are to be executed between the forms designated as the start and end, click the Add button in the Parallel Steps section. When configuring parallel steps, you must specify which forms will be filled out in each step and assign the appropriate user groups to them. Parallel steps allow several tasks to be carried out simultaneously within a single process. The process will not move on to the next stage until all parallel steps have been completed – that is, until all required forms have been filled out and submitted. All parallel steps begin at the same point in the process and then converge at a single point, from which the process continues. If a user is assigned to several groups carrying out parallel steps, the system will ask the user to specify which form to fill out when the form is opened.
