One of the biggest advantages of DEW-X is how quickly a business process can be created and launched. With a little practice, I was able to build a complete workflow in just a few minutes. For example, creating a process for employees to submit purchase requests, or a workflow for handling employee reimbursement claims for prescription glasses, took me around 15 minutes. Testing the process took another 15 minutes. In practice, within about half an hour we had a working business process consisting of several steps, approvals by multiple people along the way, and a clear flow of responsibility. This is a major benefit because it allows an organization to quickly digitize internal procedures without lengthy implementation work or the need for advanced programming skills. DEW-X makes it possible to respond rapidly to real operational needs and turn paper-based or email-based procedures into structured electronic workflows.
The system is primarily focused on handling and processing business workflows, rather than on aggregating and presenting large amounts of data collected from those processes. For example, if the organization needs broader reports, summary tables, cross-process statistics, or more advanced data views based on many completed workflows, this is not always available out of the box in the most convenient form. Of course, such functionality can be achieved, but it usually requires additional scripting, configuration, or custom development. In practice, DEW-X works very well as a workflow and process automation tool, but when it comes to more advanced data aggregation, reporting, or building larger analytical tables, some additional technical work may be necessary.
Comments (Benefits)
DEW-X provides a set of building blocks that allow you to create almost anything — in a way, it works like classic LEGO. You receive ready-made elements that can be combined into different business processes, depending on the organization’s needs.
At the same time, if you reach a point where the standard blocks are not enough — for example, when you need something more specific, such as connecting multiple processes or implementing more advanced logic — the system still gives you room to go further.
During the implementation stage, we received a fairly extensive set of scripts. Today, with tools such as AI-assisted coding and “vibe coding”, these scripts are relatively easy to modify and adapt to our own needs. This makes the system flexible: it is simple enough for building standard workflows quickly, but also open enough to support more customized solutions when necessary.
